
Dr. Sarah Janicek Osowski, PT, DPT, OCS, Cert. DN
Sarah has been a physical therapist practicing in the Richmond, Virginia area over the past 5+ years. She is a United States Figure Skating gold medalist and skated competitively throughout high school. She attended the College of William and Mary, where she performed with the William & Mary Dance Team.
Sarah graduated from the College of William and Mary in 2014 with degrees in kinesiology and psychology and attended Virginia Commonwealth University, where she received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2017.
After physical therapy school, Sarah continued to study, completing her board certification in orthopedic physical therapy. She has taken many continuing education courses in manipulation and dry needling, and throughout her studies, she realized the need for addressing pelvic floor musculature in order to successfully treat patients.
Sarah continues to participate in figure skating, yoga, and exercise outside of clinic, and she can often be found with her two giant breed dogs and her husband, who is also a local physical therapist. She is an enthusiastic advocate of cross-training and promotion of wellness in youth sports. Sarah enjoys empowering her patients with understanding and knowledge about how to manage their conditions for full recovery.
